Nine member delegation with Dr Parneet Kaur attended the Round Square Conference at All Saints’ College, Nainital from April 28 to April 30. The conference was based on the theme ‘Bob un Cam, cer ml’ an – With Each Step Move Forward which revolved around the pillars of Adventure and Environment. The chief guest for opening ceremony was Dr Yashodhara Mathpal an eminent curator and painter who highlighted about the depleting resources and requested the young generation to conserve them.
The keynote speaker was Dr Anup Shah who showcased his collection of par excellence photography of mountain peaks, celebration of Life of Gharwal and biodiversity of Uttarakhand at its best. Another keynote address was by Ms Kritika Bora an expert on Disaster Management. It was followed by highly interactive and activity filled Barazza sessions.
Day 2 comprised of Trekking at Barapathar fu of adventure activities such as Rapelling , Valley Crossing. The day winded up with cultural evening.
Day 3 started with Sailing at Boat House Club,(Nainital-the only place in India for Sailing) followed by Principal’s Lunch.
