VANSH AND ANSHUMAN CROWNED PPS IDOLS

J00209 Vansh Dhama (Class-XIIA) from Senior Wing and B00211 Anshuman Jha (Class-VIB) from Junior Wing of The Punjab Public School, Nabha were crowned PPS Idols on September 22, 2016. 126 contestants took part in the marathon exercise. In the competition held in the famed Pavate Hall, there were two rounds for the Juniors-Karoke Round and Without Music Round. There were three rounds for the Seniors- Karoke Round, Without Music Round and Judges’ Choice Round. In a run up to the grand finale, 13 students from the Senior Section and 10 students from the Junior Section made it to the Piano Round. Finally, 6 students from the Senior Wing and 4 students from the Junior Wing made it to the Final Round. Rachna Vyas, Head, Department of Music, Hans Raj DAV Public School, Punchkula and Vandana Vyas, Head, Department of Music, DC Model Senior Secondary School, Punchkula were the judges. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School, First Lady, Ms Sonia Singh, Mr Garry Everett, Deputy Headmaster and Mr Ankur Samuel Birkett, Bursar were present on the occasion.
