Round Square Zoom Postcard by Thomas More School

A Round Square Zoom Postcard was hosted by Thomas More School, South Africa on the theme ‘Poverty and Women’s Rights’ on August 17, 2022. A team of ten (10) students comprising Kanishk Goyal, Ojasvi Jain, Surkhab Kaur, Harsimrat Kaur, Prateet Kaur, Ruhman Kaur, Shravanti Lama, Jagtar Singh, Kanwar Gurressljeet Singh and Jaskaran Singh along with RS Rep Ms Tanuja Singh represented The Punjab Public School, Nabha.
The students from various RS schools joined RS Zoom Postcard. The host school presented a play based on the theme followed by a keynote speech by a teacher of the school emphasizing on the condition of poverty and women’s rights in South Africa. The delegates were then sent to breakout rooms and they discussed the situation in their respective countries. They also dwelt upon gender stereotypes and how to overcome it.
