Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at The Punjab Public School with great fervour and enthusiasm. Junior School choir sang soulful bhajans–Shri Krishan Govind Hare Murare and Kon Kahata Hai Bhagwan Aate Nahin. Tejasveer Badyal and Jashanpreet Kaur expressed their thoughts on the relevance of the day in English and Punjabi respectively. The duo of Avijit Singh Bajwa and Charvi Sharma presented Gita Saar. The programme was beautifully anchored by Narayan Bhardwaj and Saanvi Batta. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Dr DC Sharma dwelt at length on the inner battle of Kurukshetra that goes on inside every individual. The challenge lies in fortifying the good qualities to nullify the influence of negative traits, he said. He made a clarion call to boys and girls to reflect on what they have done to be a better version of themselves. Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Dr Geetu Gupta, MD, Radiology & Special Invitee, Executive Committee of the School Board of Governors and Head, Junior Wing, Mrs Ruby Verma were present on the occasion.
