Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti was celebrated at The Punjab Public School, Nabha with great fervour and devotion today. Boys and girls assembled in the Pavate Hall at 9.00 am. Harjas Singh, Shirin Randhawa and Hargun Buttar shared their thoughts on the relevance of the day in English, Hindi and Punjabi respectively. The students from Senior School recited sabads–Jo Maange Thakur Apne Te and Tu Hi Tu Hi. Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Dr DC Sharma emphasised on the oneness of God and exhorted everyone to adhere to the teachings of the great master to lead a harmonious and purposeful life. Officiating DHM Mrs Ravinder Kaur and the staff were present on the occasion. Finally, students visited Gurudwara Sahib in Sham Bagh to pay obeisance to the holy presence.
