A Special Assembly
With the perspective of rejoicing in the festive mood and showcasing love for ‘Kanhaji’, a special assembly was conducted to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna on Monday, 26 August, 2024.The talented and adept Young Nabhaites of Jr.School gave spectacular performances including the bhajans which added religious fervor to the auspicious day. Onish Garg and Ransher Rana delivered Speech in English while Punjabi speech was delivered by Hamarvir Singh. Rehmat Kaur ,Ameet Kaur, Gurchet Singh, Agrim Asija,Deep Fateh Singh enlightened the audience with the Gita Saar in English ,Hindi and Punjabi.The awesome presentation of Japveer Singh, Nimrat Kaur, Japmanjot Singh, Angad Singh Julka, Chandan Kaur, Arjun Dhuria, Heavenjot Kaur and Mannat Kaur was applauded and appreciated by everyone.
The Headmaster, Dr DC Sharma addressed the gathering and conveyed the message that this auspicious occasion is not just about revelry but also about imbibing valuable life lessons from the life of Lord Krishna.He also emphasized that PPS instills the qualities of knowledge-seeking, responsibility, resilience, compassion, self-confidence, time management, integrity, and teamwork among students to make them responsible citizens of tomorrow.
The first Lady, Dr. Anita Sharma was also present for the occasion.
