Nabha Chapter of AFS renders social service

Nabha Chapter of AFS, i.e. The Punjab Public School organised a social service activity on the occasion of Global Youth Service Day on April 24, 2022. A group of 14 students including 3 Educators and AFS Coordinator Mr Sumit Sharma were part of it. They created awareness amongst daily wage earners including rickshaw pullers and porters about personal hygiene, food adulteration and food safety. The service activity was carried out in railway station, bus stand and squares where the daily wage earners normally gather looking for an opportunity to make a living for the day. The staff and students associated with the activity prepared vegetarian sandwiches on the campus and arranged fruits and face masks for distribution amongst the people in small gatherings at the above-mentioned venues. The theme of the activity was: “Serve, smile and share together”.
