A Day with Justin Trudeau on what makes him one of the youngest and dynamic leaders in the world – At UN Young Changemakers Conclave
Students attended the Young Changemakers Conclave-Social Impact and Innovation -2030 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, New Delhi. Highlight of the day and the keynote speaker Hon’ble Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeaumotivated the youth to bring a change in the time to come by being the leaders of today not tomorrow. He also stressed the importance of gender equality and diversity by quoting examples from his own cabinet. He emphasised on the role an educational institute plays in the development of a nation and its youngsters. Accompanying him was his equally dynamic wife, First Lady of Canada Ms Sophie Trudeau who urged everyone to love oneself and asked the audience to introspect. In a session moderated by Dia Mirza, Mr Trudeau dwelt at length about the role of empathy. He also took on queries from the students. Other speakers included Dia Mirza who has been appointed as the UN Goodwill Ambassador strongly voiced her message of keeping our environment clean and the issues of sustainable development. Other keynote speakers included Mr Amitabh Kant, CEO NITI Aayog among many other prominent faces. The conclave ended with famous poet and illustrator, Ms Rupi Kaur reciting her poems and left the jam packed hall asking for more.
