Day 1 witnessed the Opening Ceremony of KSLF-2019 at Kasauli. Students won consolation prizes in Joy of Writing Competition and participated in Poster Making Competition. B N Goswamy, an eminent art historian dwelt on the saints and sinners. Second session witnessed Tavleen Singh, and many more fondly recalling the greatness of ‘Khushwant Singh’. Post lunch the focus shifted to 550th Birth Anniversary Celebrations where the famous writer Mr Amardeep Singh, the man behind Lost Sikh Heritage captivated the audience with the awestruck realities of his journey in conflict zones. Vishnu Som, prominent face in journalism moderated the session on Women and Flying Machines.
