Day 2 – Round Square Conference

With an aim to sensitise and spread awareness, delegates assembled from 19 schools visited the following schools as part of the conference activities based on the theme.
1. Deaf and Blind School, Patiala
2. Navjivni School of Special Education
3. Vaani Integrated School for Hearing Impaired
4. Be Asha School by AWS
Students spent first half of the day at the various schools interacting with the children with special needs, understanding their problems. They were equally impressed to see them learning, writing and performing like any other normal school going children. Delegates tried their hands at carpet weaving, played cricket and many more fun games, and above all understanding life from their perspective.
Post lunch, the focus shifted to Main Play Fields where the Host Equestrians gave an excellent display of their riding skills. Evening witnessed cultural performances by various visiting schools.
