Festival Hockey Match

Festival Hockey Match was played between Staff and Students (Class 12) on April 5, 2022. While the staff team was captained by Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh, the students’ side was led by Armanjot Singh. The staff won the toss and chose to start the match. The students got the option to choose the side. In a battle of nerves, both the sides put up a fine display of their skills and nobody was ready to let go of the ball. Mr Harinder Singh and Mr Navjot Singh Sandhu exhibited excellent teamwork. The students could not quite decode their strategy and missed many an opportunity to convert excellent passes into goals. While Mr Navjot Singh Sandhu scored 3 goals, Mr Omkar Singh Thakur and Mr Harinder Singh contributed a goal each. Jatin Mathouda and Angrej Singh did their level best to salvage some pride for their side but in vain. Gursewak Singh and Angrej Singh scored a goal each. Finally, the staff won the match 5-2.
