FRESHERS’ EVENING

For the first time in the history of The Public School, Nabha Freshers Evening was celebrated with a blast. An Amazingly Astounding occasion and a perfect platform for the new eagles to come out of their shells and exhibit their hidden talent. The evening kicked off with a ‘Welcome Song’. Orchestra Performance coupled with rhythm of Guitar and Boisterous beats of Drum added to the flavour of solo dance performance by a young girl. It was followed by English Play ‘The Refund’ highlighting the education system of our country. The ambience got more lively and energetic with the infectious Bhangra and Giddha which won the hearts of everyone present. New joiners truly spoke their heart out via Mime when they enacted the story of a farmer who works hard day and night to pay the fees of his ambitious son in an elite boarding school. After this heart-touching performance group of boys and girls presented Western Dance. 

The evening came to an end with the Headmaster  addressing the gathering extending a grand welcome to the new birds in the nest of PPS family promising them a comfortable stay. It was followed by dinner. First Lady Ms Sonia Singh, Bursar Mr Birkett , Head Junior Wing Mr Deol also attended the occasion.
