Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti was celebrated at The Punjab Public School with great fervour and enthusiasm. Boys and girls gathered in the Circular Lawn at 9.00 am. Ekamveer Singh, Deputy Head Boy conducted the assembly. Harneet Kaur and Aashmeet Kaur threw light on the life and teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Devji in English and Punjabi respectively. Karanbir Kaur recited Tuti ganthan haar gopal and Rate ishq khudaye. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School stressed on the need to revert back to the teachings of Guruji. He said how relevant the concept of oneness of God is today when people are fighting in the name of religion. Finally, everyone visited Gurudwara Sahib in Sham Bagh and paid obeisance to the holy presence.
