Independence Day Celebrations

The 74th Independence Day was celebrated at The Punjab Public School, Nabha with great enthusiasm. The usual elegance and aura associated with the occasion was conspicuous by its absence because of the raging pandemic. The cadets of all the three wings of NCC connected for the event from home. They sent recorded speeches and paintings paying glowing tribute to the martyrs. Other students contributed by sending recorded cultural items. In keeping with the traditions of the school, a brief ceremony was held at the Headmaster’s Green. Dr Rakesh Alfred, Officiating Headmaster hoisted the national flag and greeted everyone on the occasion. Dr Ankur Samuel Birkett, the Bursar, Chief Officer MS Chadha (Naval Wing), 1st Officer Shahid Ahmed (Air Wing), 3rd Officer Amandeep Singh (Army Wing), Caretaker Ms Ishmeet Singh (Girls Wing) and members of staff were also present.
