Jumna House Show

Jumna House organised the cultural evening on May 21, 2022. It was themed “Paroxysms”. Welcome Song “Beautiful Sunday” by Daniel Boone set the tone for the evening. The English Play “The Refund” by Fritz Karinthy was an instant hit with the audience by its sheer hilarity. The mime gave a message on substance abuse. The Western Dance took the show to a different level altogether. Salsa added to the virtuoso performances. Folk dance depicted the rich culture of Kashmir, Manipur, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. The solo song (ghazal) Aaj jane ki zid na karo by Apoorva Singh was highly appreciated by the audience. Farida Khannum would definitely have envied Apoorva do this classic act. Finally, Giddha and Bhangra brought the curtain down on a high-voltage performance by Jumnites.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh complimented the staff and students for an excellent show. Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Head Junior Wing Ms Ruby Verma and the staff were present.
