Responding to the notification of the Govt. of Punjab, Department of Home Affairs & Justice dated February 6, 2022 to open schools across the state considering the steady decline in coronavirus cases, The Punjab Public School welcomed students back on the campus on February 10, 2022. The normal teaching resumed on February 11 to the delight of parents and students alike. The ceremonial handing over of the school flag took place during the morning assembly. Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh formally handed over the school flag to Head Boy Gurwinder Singh who, in turn, deposited it in the safe custody of Deputy Headmaster Dr Gurvinder Kaur. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Singh called upon students of ISC and ICSE to prepare well for Semester-2 examination slated in April. He made a fervent appeal to everyone to adhere to covid-appropriate behaviour. The boys and girls seemed in an upbeat mood to see their fellow classmates after the lockdown. Teachers were equally jubilant to see students in classes.
