PPS lifts JK Kate Memorial Knowledge Conclave trophy

3-day Shri JK Kate Memorial All India Inter-School Knowledge Conclave concluded at PPS on August 22, 2022. Lt Gen TK Sapru, PVSM, YSM (Retd) and Member of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the school presided over the proceedings. A total of twelve (12) schools made it to the prestigious event. The conclave comprised of eight (8) events, viz English Debate, Creative Writing, Quiz, Book Review, Movie Review, Wall Magazine, Spell Bee and Storytelling. English Debate and Spell Bee were the main highlights of the final day. Yadavindra Public School, Patiala emerged victorious in English Debate followed by PPS as the runner-up. In Spell Bee, Deepanshu Bhushan from Shiv Nadar School, Noida emerged victorious followed by Kanishk Goyal from PPS as the runner-up.
Saachi Kaur from Modern School, New Delhi stood first in Creative Writing followed by Isha Choudhary from Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar as the runner-up. In Book Review, Anahadhbir Singh from Pinegrove School, Dharampur stood first followed by Preen Arora from Yadavindra Public School, Patiala as the runner-up. The team from Modern School, New Delhi lifted the Quiz Trophy followed by Yadavindra Public School, Mohali as the runner-up. In Movie Review, Myra Rehncy from Yadavindra Public School, Mohali was first followed by Saksham Sharma from Yadavindra Public School, Patiala as the runner-up. In Wall Magazine, the team from Shiv Nadar School, Noida emerged victorious followed by Yadavindra Public School, Mohali as the runner-up. In Storytelling, Leah Lhoujem from Wynberg Allen School, Mussoorie stood first while Shipra Sharma from Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar was second.
The Overall Trophy of All India JK Kate Inter-School Knowledge Conclave was lifted by The Punjab Public School, Nabha. Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Sapru complimented the participants of various teams for setting standards. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma proposed the vote of thanks.
