Rural Development and Adventure Program

A group of 30 students along with 2 teacher escorts visited the House of Lalpur at Rupnagar to take part in the Rural Development and Adventure Program from March 5-6, 2023. It was based on the experiential learning.
On March 5, students attended a talk on agriculture and rural development delivered by Dr Sumer Singh. It was followed by their visit to the farm and orchards. In the afternoon, the group did kayaking in the river Sutlej.
On March 6, students went for trekking and reached the ridge of the Basali forests. In the afternoon, they enjoyed motorboat ride in the river Sutlej.
The group came back to the school with an abundance of experiences.
