Johar Ali Khan works magic with VIOLIN
Under the aegis of SPIC-MACAY, the classical Indian violinist Johar Ali Khan gave a demonstration of his skill with the violin in the famed Pavate Hall on August 22, 2016. He started with Raag Bairagi Bhairav which was followed by a Sufi composition based on theental. He played quite a few famous Bollywood numbers on demand. He also enlightened the audience on the origin of violin. He enthralled everyone present with Raag Shivranjani. Mr Siddharth Chatterjee made his debut as a tabla player. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School, Nabha gave Mr Johar Ali and Mr Siddharth Chatterjee tokens of deeply felt love and gratitude.
