The usual euphoria associated with Oath Taking Ceremony for Student Appointments (2020-21) was conspicuous by its absence under Covid-induced conditions on Wednesday. There was no function, no fanfare this time around. Taking everything in his stride, Mr Ajay Singh went ahead with Student Appointments online. In a meeting convened specifically to share with Class-XII (All Sections) the modalities already in place for re-opening the school after a 7-month long hiatus, the Headmaster in his first virtual interaction with the seniormost Class since assuming office on September 1, 2020 sounded optimistic about things getting better with the passage of time if the basic Covid precautions are strictly adhered to. He addressed many a concern raised by boys and girls. Finally, he read out names of Student Appointments (2020-21) decided unanimously to the delight of everyone.
