The day began with the inauguration of Live Exhibitions put up by the school students. Students were seen performing experiments, playing ethereal music as the visitors inquisitively appreciated the hard work of students.
Afternoon witnessed a friendly volleyball match between Silver Jubilee Batch of 1992 and students.
The evening began with the Classical Dance seeking the blessings of great deity. It was followed by Choreography which strongly conveyed a message to eradicate the evil of Child Abuse. The School Choir presented a mesmerising group song. English play ‘The Canterville Ghost’ captivated the audience with their haunted performances. Nabhaites presented Salsa. Bhangra, the most electrifying performance of the evening left the audience spellbound. Mr Jai Singh Gill (IAS Retd), President Executive Committee gave away prizes to the winners. He also presented gift hampers to the staff and students of Jivan Jyoti Special School. In his brief speech to the gathering, chief guest complimented the staff and students for putting up an extraordinary show. Headmaster, Dr Jagpreet Singh proposed vote of thanks and presented a token of deeply felt gratitude to the chief guest. It was followed by Headmaster’s Dinner.
