    Cold and foggy morning didn’t dampen the spirit of young cricketers assembled here to take part in the 5th Sub Junior and 14th Senior Six-a-Side National Championship scheduled to be held at The Punjab Public School, Nabha. 
    10 teams from across the country with over 150 cricketers are participating. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster declared the meet open. In his opening address to the assembly of sportsmen, he welcomed all the participants encouraging them that Six a side will be the future of Cricket as it requires more skill, talent and resistance. He wished the teams all the very best for the eventful days.
      The Punjab Public School, Nabha has been recognised as Top Future 50 Schools Shaping Success (Residential Schools) in the award ceremony held at Sahara Star, Mumbai on November 14, 2018. Future 50 Schools Shaping Success is a premium annual evaluation of progressive schools across India conceptualised by industry powerhouses – Univariety(Education Partner), Fortune India (Media Partner) and PwC (Process Advisers). Furthermore, on the lines of the illustrious Fortune 500 Companies, the Future 50 initiative takes schools through a stringent and most noteworthy transparent evaluation process. Nearly 600 schools registered for the event out of which 50 schools made it to the winning list. 
        The Punjab Public School, Nabha has been conferred the International School Award for the fourth time by The British Council. 

        The ISA Award has been acredited to PPS by The British Council for it's Outstanding Development of the International Dimension in the curriculum for the term
         2018- 2021.
        The ceremony was held yesterday at Chandigarh.Ms Amandeep kaur Kalra, Coordinator British Council and Davinder Dutt received the award.
