    In a gesture to salute the real heroes of our Nation, The Punjab Public School, Nabha observed Surgical Strike Day to Honour Indian Army. Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh in a presentation threw light on the history and facts of Surgical Strikes conducted by Indian Army. It was followed by a documentary featuring the surgical strikes by Indian Army in Sept, 2016. 
    The assembly concluded with National Anthem. 
      PPS Nabha has continued to dominate the chart by consistently being No. 1 in the category of Best Coed Boarding Schools in Punjab. In the category of top 10 schools in India, PPS Nabha has moved a spot ahead than its previous year. Also, PPS Nabha has been placed at No. 8 in Sports Education.

        Today’s dawn of the day in PPS witnessed the very first simulation of United Nations Organisation. The issue at hand was “ Syrian Conflict “ in United Nation General Assembly-DISEC. It is said there is always a lull before the storm, but the storm that raged in UNGA was a one without any lull . Delegates were in full spirits , encharged with diplomacy and skill. It was indeed a hard task for the Executive Board and the logistics to control such boosted and active diplomats. The delegates deliberated on various aspects of the Agenda, with full vigour.

          Workshop on Story Telling was conducted by a renowned Story Teller , Ms Shikha Sood. She conducted two sessions for students and staff separately. She dwelt at length on the nuances of Story Telling. The workshop was full of activities, fun and learning. In her usual dramatic style, she kept the audience glued and left the staff asking for more. 
          Dr Jagpreet Singh, Head Master presented a token of deeply felt appreciation to Ms Sood and thanked her for sparing time out of her busy schedule to address the Staff and Students.

            Book Fair in PPS, Nabha 
            A Book Fair was organised in The Punjab Public School, Nabha by Scholastic for the students..!
            Great books for great reading..! Happy Reading Guys...!
              Class 12 students of IAYP .....planted more than 150 plants in the campus today at PPS ....!
                indi Elocution was organised in Junior School in PPS, Nabha. Children very enthusiastically took part...!
                  Academic Toppers (2017-18) were honoured with Torch Badges in a special assembly held at Pavate Hall this morning. Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh presented the students with badges symbolic of knowledge, light and way to success. The proud torch bearers pinned their badges proudly. Dr Singh congratulated all the torch bearers and motivated them to repeat this successful feat the next year. The assembly concluded with National Anthem.
                    Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great joy at The Punjab Public School, Nabha. The morning started with An ode to Dr S Radhakrishnan. Class XII presented their dear teachers with their portraits. The play, scripted by students, recreated the classroom on stage and tickled the funny bone in audience. Beautifully it showcased the unspoken yet strongest bond between a student and teacher. The musical and singing performances by Mr Greg, Mr Gordon with the school choir lent a melodious feel. Three teachers awarded for their outstanding contribution in the field of education were felicitated by the Head Master. The program also featured Dance performance by teachers. The celebration concluded with power packed and energetic Giddha and Bhangra featuring staff and students. 
                    Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh extended his congratulations to Class XII for putting up a show of par excellence. He wished one and all A Very Happy Teachers’ Day...!
