55th All India IPSC Athletic Meet kicked off in the Main Fields at PPS, Nabha. Mr Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi Hon’ble Minister- Sports & Youth Affairs, Punjab was the Chief Guest for Opening Ceremony. He was introduced to the key members on his arrival. The ceremony started with the March Past. Chief Guest declared the meet open. In his speech, he advised all the budding sportsmen to focus on their sport. Sending out a powerful message that failure is the stepping stone to success, he surely inspired many present for the ceremony. He lauded the efforts of Punjab Govt in felicitating the Common Wealth Sportsmen with cash prize and Government Jobs. He generously donated 5 lakhs for the sports development. 25 IPSC schools from India are participating in the 3 day long Athletic Meet. 
Day 1 witnessed the Finals of Discuss Throw 
(B & G), 1500m run (B&G), Triple Jump (B&G), 5km walk (B&G), Javelin Throw, High Jump, 4*100m Relay (Girls). Heats of various other events continued simultaneously.

    The Punjab Public School, Nabha’ is Ranked No.7 in India, No.1 in Punjab & Ranked No.1 in Nabha.

        General Bipin Rawat, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, ADC, Chief of the Army Staff of Indian Army presided over the Founders’ Day celebrations. Chief guest inspected the Guard of Honour. 
        Head Master Dr Jagpreet Singh conducted the school assembly. Students put up an Aerobics and Taekwondo show. Roll of Honour was awarded to Mr Kanwar Sandhu for making his alma matar proud. Life Achievement Award was bestowed on Mr B S Bhatnagar. Chief Guest gave away prizes to the winners of various achievements. 
        Pipe and Brass Band enthralled the audience and left them asking for more. The Band Team got a standing ovation from Chief Guest. Riding Team displayed excellent equestrian skills. Gen Rawat addressed the gathering and said that he was extremely thankful and delighted to be part of the Founders’ Day Celebrations. His visit to PPS had unravelled the mystery of PPS producing defence personnel. He lauded the school for its rich legacy and value based education. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Head Master presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to the Chief Guest. Gen Rawat also presented a token of fond remembrance to the Head Master. Head Boy proposed vote of thanks. The event concluded with National Anthem.  

          Day 2 kicked off with Inauguration of Exhibitions by proud parents of Head Boy, Sehajpal S Randhawa and Head Girl, Jasmohit Kaur (ISC-2019). Also, the clocks installed on the Kairon Block donated by 1968 Batch were commissioned by Head Master, Dr Jagpreet Singh. 
          The evening witnessed the Variety Entertainment Programme and Prize Distribution. Mr Kanwar Sandhu, Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mrs Bittu Safeena Sandhu accompanied him. 
          The evening comprised of musical “The Highway Man”, Salsa and other dance performances which kept the audience glued. Mr Sandhu gave away the prizes to winners. In his address to the gathering, Mr Sandhu recalled his school days and shared priceless memories of ‘his’ naughty batch. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Head Master proposed vote of thanks. The day ended with Head Master’s Dinner. 
            Three day long Annual Founders’ Day Celebrations kicked off this evening with the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Mr BS Bhatnagar former Principal , Daly College, Indore and many other renowned schools presided as the Chief Guest for the occasion. He gave away prizes and certificates to the achievers. Going down the memory lane, Mr Bhatnagar got overwhelmed and recalled his fond years working at PPS. He ran short of words to sum up the evening and expressed his happiness to see the school growing leaps and bounds. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Head Master presented a token of deeply felt gratitude and thanked him for coming all the way to grace the occasion.
