Shri V P Singh Badnore, Hon’ble Governor Punjab & Administrator UT was the Chief Guest at Passing Out Ceremony for ISC -2019 held at Pavate Hall in the evening. Ceremony started with the Academic Procession led by the Chief Guest.
Citations of outgoing Class XII students were read out. Hon’ble Governor presented the school memento to every student. In his speech to the gathering, Chief Guest lauded the efforts of Headmaster, Staff, Students for taking school to glorious heights. He called upon the need for auto evaluation. He added that every Passing out Ceremony is a moment of reflection offering us a chance to do better every year. Sending out a powerful message to the students to be mainstay in their parents life, he concluded his speech by quoting famous lines from Albert Camus. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster Punjab Public School thanked the Chief Guest for gracing the evening and presented him a token of deeply felt love and gratitude. Mrs. Alka Badnore  and other Members of Board of Governor were also present for the occasion.
    Four Boys from PPS , Nabha were invited to showcase their talent on The Republic Day at The Polo Ground ..! The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab Capt Amrinder Singh felicitated the team for the awesome talent they displayed..! Kudos to the PPS Daredevils...!
      Dr Sumer Singh, eminent educationist and Member, Board of Governors presided over the 70th Republic Day Celebrations at Punjab Public School, Nabha. He inspected the Guard of Honour and hoisted the tricolour. Students highlighted the contribution of Indian heroes and their struggle. School choir mesmerised everyone with the patriotic songs. Choreography presented by students lent a patriotic feel to the environment. In his address to the gathering, Chief Guest Dr Singh highlighted the historical facts about India’s Republic Evolution. Citing the importance of Independence, he dwelt at length on principles of Sovereignty, Democracy, and Secularism. Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster proposed vote of thanks and presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude.

          Mr Vinay Pande, Headmaster, Lawrence School, Sanawar conducted a highly brainstorming workshop ‘Theatre in Education’ for the teaching staff of PPS , Nabha . He focused on the powerful role theatre can play in educational setting. Narrating his own experiences and  anecdotes , he shared the Do’s and Don’ts of a classroom. The second half of workshop was completely activity based. It gave an excellent opportunity to every teacher to explore the hidden actor in him/her. The workshop ended with suggestions/feedback from Mr Pande.
            Class XI students hosted farewell to outgoing Class XII in Bollywood style at Swimming Pool Lawns. Mr Vinay Pande, Headmaster Lawrence School, Sanawar and Mrs Usha Pande were the Chief Guest. Dramatic Red Carpet entry, Stylish Photo Sessions gave a warm welcome to everyone. Hilarious skit ‘Chillar Party Ki Paathshala’ left everyone in splits. 
            Games such as Face off, Style mein rehne ka, Ulta Pulta and many more added fun to the evening. Dance performance on  Retro Bollywood Mix got everyone grooving in their seats. Mr and Mrs Pandey presented souvenirs to Class XII. Head Boy and Head Girl shared their experiences and motivated the upcoming batch in their emotional speech. Chief Guest complimented Class XI for putting up a fantastic show. Headmaster Dr Jagpreet Singh proposed vote of thanks and presented a token of deeply felt love and gratitude to the Chief Guest. 

              Junior School Variety Entertainment showcased young talent of Junior School in Pavate Hall in PPS , Nabha..! More than 220 children participated in the show ....!
              Large number of parents assembled to witness their children performing various items. The evening kicked off with mesmerising performance by school choir . It was followed by English Play -Akbar Birbal. Various forms of dances left the audience asking for more. Hindi play “ Ek Galheri” left everyone spellbound..! 
              The evening came to an end with Headmaster’s address. He showered praises on every single person behind the show. He thanked every parent for being part of the evening.
                Lohri Celebrations at PPS, Nabha

                  Festival Cricket Match in PPS, Nabha 
                  A traditional Festival Cricket Match was played between the  PPS Staff and Students.! 
                  Staff made 164 for 1 wicket in 15 overs . Mr Abhishek Jalota made unbeaten 114 in 52 balls...! 
                  Students were completely outplayed as the staff got all team out by splendid bowling in just 58 runs with 4 balls to spare..! 
                  Kudos to the Great Staff Cricket Team “ The Eagles “.
                    The Punjab Public School, Nabha reopened after the Winter Break today and the first Assembly was conducted by the Headmaster, Dr Jagpreet Singh in which the School Flag was given by the Deputy Headmaster to the Head Boy and The Head Girl to hoist it on the Main Building signifying that , the students are the life and soul of the School and when children leave for a break after the end of term the flag is taken off and kept in the custody of The Deputy Headmaster. A great legacy of a great Institution..! Onward and Upward..!
