Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at The Punjab Public School on August 30, 2021. The students of the Junior School presented a splendidly colourful programme in the Pavate Hall. Mansirat Kaur gave the speech in English. She enlightened the audience on the relevance of the day. Shrey Jindal and Mannat Tangri spoke the Geeta Saar. Bhajans gave a different feel to the milieu. Uday Raja and Prabhugun Kaur were the comperes. The musical play depicted the life history of Shri Krishna. Children were dressed as Radha and Krishna. The cute little ones added a traditional touch to the celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs. Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts put up by staff and students and motivated the children to follow the teachings of Lord Krishna. The first Lady, Ms Anamika Singh, Dr Gurvinder Kaur, Deputy Headmaster, Ms Sapna Gill, Dean of Cultural Activities, Mr K Ramana and Miss Aman Nijjar, Coordinators, Junior School were also present.
