A festival cricket match was played between Staff and Students on November 15, 2021 to commemorate Children’s Day. There is no better bonding than the one formed on the playing field. The staff team won the toss and elected to bat. The staff team was led by Headmaster Mr Ajay Singh and the students’ team by School Cricket Captain Ayush Jain. Mr Ajay Singh and Mr Raj Sandhu opened the batting. A miscommunication led to Mr Ajay Singh being run out for a paltry score. Mr Harinder Singh joined Mr Sandhu. Mr Harinder smashed sixes all over the ground and made a total of 58 runs. Mr Sandhu was caught by Ayush at 31. This was followed by Mr Vikas Kumar, Mr Abhishek Jalota and Mr Varinder Johal contributing their bit to the team’s total. The star bowler from the students’ side was Jashanjot Singh Khurana who scored a brilliant hat-trick. Finally, a huge target of 179 runs was set by teachers in 15 overs.
