Mr Ajay Singh takes over as Headmaster, PPS Nabha

Mr Ajay Singh has formally taken over as the Headmaster of The Punjab Public School, Nabha wef September 1, 2020. He has had an enriching experience as an educationist.
In a career spanning over two decades, Mr Singh worked with VCTC as part of National Aids Control Organisation initially and then moved into educational field. He had a fulfilling stint at Mayo College, Ajmer for almost a decade as a Psychology Teacher, a Career Counsellor and eventually the Housemaster and left to join Genesis Global School, Noida as its Dean Residences and later on head the National Curriculum (CBSE) of the School.
Mr Singh holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the prestigious Benaras Hindu University, a B Ed from Mangalayatan University as well as UGC-NET qualification. He has wide experience of teaching Psychology with excellent results in CBSE and IBDP. He has taught Global Perspectives in IGCSE Curriculum as well as Theory of Knowledge in IBDP. He is a keen debater, pedagogical leader and a sports enthusiast, playing cricket, table tennis and badminton. He was conferred with “Excellence in Teaching Award” by Dr Deepak Vohra, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister and ex-Ambassador. In 2019, he received the International School Award at Dubai from Dr Attaullah Wahidyar, Senior Advisor to Education Minister of Afghanistan. He was also given “The Most Transformational Practices in Student Development 2019 Award” by Confederation of Educational Institutions of India in October 2019.
Mr Singh joins PPS with a further vision to raise the standards of Professional Development and pastoral care as a Team Player and Collaborative Leader. Prior to joining PPS, Mr Ajay Singh had a successful stint as the Principal of the National Curriculum at Genesis Global School, Noida.
