NCC cadets celebrate Van Mahotsav at PPS

As per the directions given by Group Headquarters NCC, Patiala, the cadets of Army, Air and Naval Wings celebrated Van Mahotsav on September 7, 2020. The cadets, mostly comprising the staff kids in the backdrop of the raging pandemic, gathered in the vicinity of Gurudwara Sahib at Sham Bagh. The proceedings got underway with the arrival of Mr Ajay Singh, Headmaster, The Punjab Public School. While addressing the cadets, he impressed on them the need to plant trees and nurture them for posterity. Mr Singh also planted a sapling along with students and staff. Mr Rakesh Alfred, Deputy Headmaster, Chief Officer MS Chadha (Naval Wing), 1st Officer Shahid Ahmed (Air Wing), 3rd Officer Amandeep Singh (Army Wing) and Caretaker (Army Girls Wing) Ishmeet Singh were present.
