PPS celebrates 64th Founders’ Day Punjab Guv presides over the function
The Punjab Public School, Nabha celebrated its 64th Founders’ Day on October 27, 2024. The proceedings got underway with the arrival of the chief guest Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab & Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh and Chairman, the School Board of Governors. He took the salute and inspected the Guard of Honour. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma conducted the assembly and presented the School Report. While presenting the Headmaster’s Report, Dr Sharma profusely thanked the patrons of the school for rendering all possible help for the growth of the institution over the years. The Lifetime Achievement Award was conferred on Shri Ramesh Chander Bhalla, Ex-Mathematics Teacher & Deputy Headmaster. The Award of Roll of Honour was conferred on Shri Rajeev Bakshi, a distinguished corporate leader. The President’s Championship Trophy for Senior Cock House for the year 2023 was lifted by Sutlej House. On this occasion, Junior School boys put up a grand aerobics display. The School Band put up an immaculate performance. PPS riders stole the show with their splendid performance. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kataria complimented the staff and students for putting up an excellent show. He said he was impressed with the quality work being done by the staff at PPS to shape life and character of students. Proposing the vote of thanks, Headmaster Dr DC Sharma expressed his gratitude to Shri Kataria for his words of encouragement. Shri Jai Singh Gill, IAS (Retd), President, Executive Committee, the Board of Governors, hon’ble Board Members and other prominent dignitaries were present on the occasion.
