PPS Nabha gears up for the 63rd Founders’ Day in style

The Mini-Founders’ Day in the run-up to the 63rd Founders’ Day of The Punjab Public School, Nabha was celebrated on November 7, 2023. It was presided over by Lt Gen Vinay Sharma, PVSM, SM, VSM (Retd). A Variety Entertainment Programme was presented on the occasion. Orchestra, Folk Dance (Kashmiri, Gujarati and Rajasthani), Giddha and Bhangra enthralled everyone present. The students were given prizes for various academic and co-curricular activities. Eight (8) teachers were given Headmaster’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. The event became special with the presence of the Golden Jubilee Batch of 1973. They were felicitated by the chief guest Lt Gen Vinay Sharma. Shri Jai Singh Gill, IAS (Retd), President, Executive Committee and other dignitaries were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Lt Gen Vinay Sharma complimented the staff and students for putting up an excellent show. He appealed to the students to work hard for a glorious future. Proposing the vote of thanks, Headmaster Dr DC Sharma thanked the chief guest for his words of encouragement. Earlier in the day, the Old Nabhaites, dignitaries and parents visited the exhibitions in various locations in the Kairon Block.
